THE NAME, BEFORE THE BRAND

A family name.
A personal signature.

BACCO is the surname of Angel Francesco Bacco, the founder of the brand, and the Italian name of the god of wine. Beneath the brim, these two meanings meet: a personal story takes shape through the imagery of myth.

The lion recalls the transformation of Dionysus told in Homeric Hymn VII. This connection, chosen by the founder, inspires the illustration. The myth behind the illustration ↗

Is the cap available now?

Aureus Cap is available for preorder, for delivery at a later date. The first release will comprise 300 numbered pieces; this initial opening covers numbers 1 to 50.

Does the newsletter reserve a cap?

No. This form subscribes you to the newsletter and does not reserve a piece or a number. To preorder the cap, visit the Aureus Cap page.

What does the numbering mean?

Each cap in the first release will have a number from 1 to 300. Preorders are currently open for pieces numbered 1 to 50.
